FREE MYSTERY CALL

What do your callers actually hear?

Most business owners have never rung their own number and waited. We will — anonymously, the way a customer would — and tell you exactly what happens.

Free · No obligation · We will tell you if it is already good

Four details and we will make the call

Your name, your business name, an email for the summary, and the number we should ring.

What we listen for

How the call is answered

Whether a person answers, a menu does, or nobody does — and how long it takes.

The wait

Silence, a radio station, or something you chose. Most businesses do not know which.

Whether it is current

Hold messages are written once and rarely touched. We will tell you if yours still promotes something that finished.

After hours

We ring twice, in hours and out, because they are often completely different experiences.

What this is not

This is not a mystery shopping programme. We are not scoring your staff, timing their greetings or assessing how they handle objections — there are good Australian companies who do exactly that, and they charge for it properly.

We listen to one thing: the audio. What plays when nobody has picked up yet. That is the part we have been producing since 1996, and it is the part nobody checks.

What you get back

A short written summary within two business days. What we heard, in plain language, and what we would change if it were ours.

If your phone audio is already good, we will say so. We are not going to invent a problem in order to sell you something.

Why most businesses have no idea

The phone rings, someone answers, and the caller waits. Nobody inside the business ever hears that part — you dial out, you do not dial in.

Australian call centres answered in an average of 2:26 this year, up from 1:49 the year before. Every measured sector got slower. Whatever is playing during that wait is doing more work than it used to, and almost nobody has checked it.

Questions people ask

Is it really free?
Yes. No cost, no obligation, and we do not ask for card details. We produce phone audio for a living, so if you decide something should change we would like it to be us — that is the whole of the catch.
Do you tell us you are calling?
No. We ring the way any customer would, without announcing ourselves. A call that is expected is not the call your customers get.
How long does it take?
The calls take a few minutes. The written summary reaches you within two business days.
What if our audio is fine?
Then we will tell you it is fine. We are not going to invent a problem in order to sell you something.
